Nuwara Eliya and Kandy, Sri Lanka

Tea lots traced from the leaf intake to the auction.

Small estates sell tea through brokers who see only the final lot. We keep the record from intake through withering, rolling and firing to grading.

Questions estates raise first

Do estates own the lot record?

Yes. The estate can read and export its own entries at any time.

Can a broker see the plucker collection?

Only the total weight per collection, never the pluckers' names.

Is the auction price on the ledger?

No. Prices stay in the auction house's own system.
